(Clients staying at Whitmuir Hall will be able to make use of the indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, any time during their stay).
SATURDAY - FIRST ACTIVITY DAY
After breakfast, we Depart from Whitmuir Hall and start on our “Borders Jacobite Run” tour (120 miles) returning to Melrose in the afternoon for an archery and crossbow two hour session, followed by free time, allowing you to spend some cultural time in Melrose, and to take advantage of Whitmuir Halls pool and sauna facilities before dinner. SECOND DAY – POSSIBLE DEPARTURE DAY
The day starts at 10 am with a two hour session on
our
"Trail Blazer Buggies" within
the grounds of Whitmuir Hall. After lunch we kit up and head out on our
“Weavers and
Reivers” tour (115 miles), which takes us over to Dumfries and Galloway.
This tour allows access to the A74 -
M6, so anyone within the group who needs to head for home early could take this
opportunity to say farewell. The rest of us will continue the tour, finishing at Whitmuir
Hall, returning any hired bikes, equipment and packing bags etc. However, anyone
staying over another night may keep all hired equipment until the following
morning, (third Day) when we ask that you vacate your apartment by 10.30am
Please note that we have much more information including prices available on our CD and considerably much more when you make your booking, the above information is just a taster! General Information The theme of all our tours
on Scotland's country roads is for a relaxed and unhurried trip, taking in local scenery and points
of interest. The nature of the roads on our chosen trips does not
encourage "speeding bullets" so we're promoting a sedate, leisurely
introduction to Scotland and in particular, the Borders. For information on bike/equipment hire and other conditions of the tours, please refer to our Motor Cycle Tours home page.
A considerable number of Active Sports activities are run here See our Accommodation section for discounted Activities available to clients staying at Whitmuir Hall.
