Is a combination of our Borders motor cycle tours, Archery (including Crossbow) and our Trail Blazer Buggies over a three day period. (normally a weekend) EVENING PRIOR- to tours/activities: All clients making use of our motorcycle hire facility are required to be at our head office in Melrose no later than 3 pm. Clients using their own bikes are required to be at our provided (if required) accommodation around 7.00 pm. Following room allocation and light refreshments, we will all be able to “get to know each other” and discuss our program over dinner at 7.30 pm. (Clients staying at Whitmuir Hall will be able to make use of the indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, any time during their stay).
FIRST DAY - Bike run and first activity day After breakfast, we Depart from our chosen accommodation around 10.00am and start on our “Borders Jacobite Run” tour (120 miles) returning to Melrose late afternoon for an archery and crossbow two hour session, followed by free time, allowing you to spend some cultural time in Melrose, and to take advantage of Whitmuir Halls pool and sauna facilities (if staying at Whitmuir Hall) before dinner at an agreed time.
The day starts at 10 am when we head out on our “Weavers and Reivers” tour (115 miles), which takes us over to Dumfries and Galloway. This tour allows access to the A74 - M6, so anyone within the group who needs to head for home early could take this opportunity to say farewell. The rest of us will continue the tour, finishing at or selected accommodation returning any hired bikes, equipment etc. The following morning, (third Day) we ask that you vacate your apartment by 10.30am THIRD DAY - Activity day only The day starts at 10 am with a two hour session on our "Trail Blazer Buggies" within the grounds of Whitmuir Hall. These are great fun for all the family - easy to drive with lots of off road thrills. The Buggies are fitted with full seat belts and helmets are provided as well as instruction. After lunch we take this opportunity to say our farewells.
General Information The theme of all our tours
on Scotland's country roads is for a relaxed and unhurried trip, taking in local scenery and points
of interest. The nature of the roads on our chosen trips does not
encourage "speeding bullets" so we're promoting a sedate, leisurely
introduction to Scotland and in particular, the Borders. For information on bike/equipment hire and other conditions of the tours, please refer to our Motor Cycle Tours home page.
