ADVENTURE ON WHEELS

CBT

Compulsory Basic Training (2nd Gear In The Six Gears of Road Motorcycling)

All learner motorcycle and learner moped riders must complete a compulsory basic training (CBT) course before riding on the road.

Only instructors certified by the Driving Standards Agency can teach CBT at an approved training body (ATB) such as Adventure On Wheels Ltd. ATBs must have instructors who have successfully completed a two day assessment and have sites approved by DSA for off-road training, our yard at our head office in Melrose is such a site.

The contents of the table below are designed to give you a more flexible choice in how to obtain your CBT. Please study the highlighted points within the Course Description column to find out which program would best suit you, then give us a call (01896 822452) to arrange your course.

We strongly suggest you click on the following links to find out more about CBT in general and the CBT syllabus.
