Dirt Biking

Introduction.

Our DB150 and MRX200 dirt bikes are great fun for all the family - easy to drive with lots of thrills. The bikes are designed for children and adults but  height and age restrictions apply - minimum inside leg length 26 inches;  minimum age 13 years.  Further details can be provided on enquiry. Helmets and body armour are provided.

Our courses are designed for beginners and intermediates. Once we have shown you the basic techniques, we will then lead you round our trails within the grounds of Whitmuir Hall near Selkirk.  We have all the terrain you need: mud, water, steep ascents, steeper descents.

Our Instructional team are DSA (Driving Standards Agency) ADIs (Approved Driving Instructors) for Motorcycling

bulletOption 1:  

One Driver only per bike. Children aged 13 - 18 will require adult supervision

Duration: 1.5 hours

Additional 1/2 hours charged at £25 per bike

Family pack.

Beginners Pack. One Driver only per bike. Children aged 13 - 18 will require adult supervision.

This option is designed for school groups and special needs groups etc.

It’s great fun no matter what the weather or the time of year, and once you have mastered the basics skills you will love the challenge of our more technical trails.

In general:

bullet Children aged 13 to 18 years will require adult supervision, ie parent, guardian etc. (on a bike)
bulletHeight  restrictions apply - minimum inside leg length 26 inches.
bulletHelmets and body armour are provided.
bullet Our courses are ideal for:

Beginners - You have never driven a motorbike. You may have been a passenger and would like to find out what it is like, but without the worry of sharing the road with other vehicles, and don't hold a driving licence.

Improvers - You have hade some experience driving a bike, reasonably happy in changing gear, stopping and starting without falling over. (most of the time!)

Intermediates - You are confident, even very confident in driving a motorbike but never driven a bike off road and think it might improve your on road handling skills.
