The following events take place annually through out the year. If any of the events are of interest to you please call us for more information or to book your place. Please note: Our other tours are available through out the year on request.
Event - MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show (Ingliston) Date - Second weekend in March, 10/03/12 - 11/03/12 Duration - Two days. Saturday & Sunday Distance - N.A. Accommodation - N.A. Description - Its a Motorcycle show with lots of motorcycle things you can see, do and buy, simples! Kids under 15 are free. The show is often a good indication of the start of the motorcycle session in Scotland however more often than not the weather on that weekend is still cold and wintery so many of us will travel to it by car. Tom often go's up (by car) on the Sunday so if you would like to car share give him a call. Meeting point - Adventure On Wheels Ltd head office in Melrose. Start Time - 9.30am Restrictions - none Cost - Your share of the fuel and your entry into the show which is around £16
Event - Bike Trip. The "H" run Date - First Sunday in April, 01/04/12 Duration - One day. Sunday Distance - 130 miles approximately Accommodation - N.A. Description - This is a good start of session warm up ride out to Carlisle visiting the Honda bike show room and the Hiengerick shop. Discount is available on most Hiengerick articles (Carlisle store only) for those introduced by Tom on the day. All are welcome. Meeting point - Adventure On Wheels Ltd head office in Melrose. Start Time - 10.30am Restrictions - Bike size 500cc or above, No children, Cost - Nil
Event - Guided Bike Tour. Skye Trip Date - Last weekend in May, Next trip 2014 Duration - Three days. Friday/Saturday/Sunday Distance - 700miles approx Accommodation - 2 nights B&B Description - A great tour north from start to finish including the Isle of Skye. Simply fabulous. Meeting point - Adventure On Wheels Ltd head office in Melrose. Start Time - 9.30am Restrictions - Maximum group of 8 heads, Bike size 500cc or above, No children, Cost - £185 (open group price for 2012) Price includes your Guide, 2 nights B&B and 2 Ferry crossings
Event - Guided Bike Tour. Drive O' The Cattle (Applecross) Trip Date - Last weekend in May, 25/05/12 - 27/05/12 Duration - Three days. Friday/Saturday/Sunday Distance - 750miles approx Accommodation - 2 nights B&B Description - A great tour north from start to finish including the old cattle road to Applecross and a taste of Skye. If you like roads with character then this is the trip for you. Meeting point - Adventure On Wheels Ltd head office in Melrose. Event - Promotion Show. Borders Union Show Date - Last Friday and Saturday in July, 27/07/12 - 2 8/07/12 Duration - Two days. Friday/Saturday Distance - N.A. Accommodation - N.A. Description -Adventure On Wheels Ltd with Jim Shanks HGV training has a trade stand promoting our services. Please call round and say hallow and partake in some of our refreshments, all are welcome. Its a great day out for all the family. Meeting point - Our stand. Close to the Red gate entrance. Start Time - Our Stand is open at 10.00am Restrictions - None Cost - Admission into the grounds is around £10 on the Friday and £15 on the Saturday

Saturday/Sunday Distance - 445miles approx Accommodation - 1 night B&B Description - A great tour north west from start to finish including the great north west passage to Oban and of course the un forgettable Pass of Glen Coe. This is a great first time trip for those new to bike tours and very much a favourite with well seasoned bikers. Meeting point - Adventure On Wheels Ltd head office in Melrose. Event - Bike Trip, RAF Leuchars Air Show Date - Second Saturday in September, 08/09/12 Duration - One day. Saturday Distance - 200miles approx Accommodation - N.A. Description - This is an open to all ride up to RAF Leuchars Air Show. We meet at the Adventure On Wheels Ltd head office in Melrose. All are welcome. Its a great day out with a great coastal route. Meeting point - Adventure On Wheels Ltd head office in Melrose. Start Time - 9.30am Restrictions - Bike size 500cc or above, Cost - Admission into the grounds is around £25 on the Saturday
October:
Event - Guided Bike Tour. Spain Date - October, / November exact dates TBC Duration - 7 days. Distance - 1000miles approx Accommodation - Bed only Description - This is trip of a life time. Twisty and high. Meeting point - Adventure On Wheels Ltd head office in Melrose. Start Time - TBC Restrictions - Maximum group size of 4, Experienced riders only. Cost - £900 Price includes your flights, (out and return) your Guide, 6 nights Bed only and 5 days bike hire (BMW F650GS)
