Duration - Eight days. Saturday  to Sunday

On this tour we are happy for you to ride two up but you must be well accomplished at this. Our villas are the finest you will find, with a fully fitted kitchen, spacious rooms, heated outdoor pools, hot tub*, games room*, (*subject to villa used) air conditioning units in each room and private secured parking and provides a central base for our various routes. You can have a spacious room to yourself or share with a friend/partner giving excellent value for money. We never have large numbers on any of our tours, and our "El Tapas Tour" has a maximum of six bike places per group. This is not an off road tour, all the roads we use are tarmac, and mostly traffic free.

Meeting point - Adventure On Wheels head office in Melrose/Edinburgh airport

The route is packed with rides through breathtaking scenery across mountains, forest, open country and coastline. This is not a tour for those new to riding, our recommended standard is that your riding skills should be close to an advanced level, with good scanning, anticipating and planning, riding to a system which is safe and that others can recognise and easily plan for. You will be given the chance to refine your riding skills by the coaching of one of the finest most knowledgeable riders in Spain, Eleuterio Portes, he is the Senior Advisor and machine craft trainer for the Spanish government. Completion of this tour at a high level is a pre-requisite for acceptance on to our Spanish Peaks Challenge Premier Class tour. The theme of all our tours is for a safe relaxed and unhurried exciting trip, taking in local scenery, points of interest and great twisty roads. We try to run at a pace to suit all within the group but appreciate that some may wish to go faster than others and will endeavour to accommodate such riders on appropriate sections of the tour.
