Raiders And Jacobites 265 Miles Approx

This is a combination of two of our most popular Borders tours,  The Border Jacobite Run and the Northumberland Raid

General Information: The theme of all our tours is for a relaxed and unhurried trip, taking in local scenery and points of interest.  We try to run at a pace to suit all within the group but appreciate that some may wish to go faster than others and will endeavour to accommodate such riders on appropriate sections of the tour.

Dining out: We are always happy to advise on where to dine and when at all possible we like to dine with the whole group.    

Prices for individual or joint tours are available on enquiry; accommodation options and costs can also be made available on request, if required.

  • Location: Scottish Borders

  • Accommodation: All within the Central Borders (Melrose, Galashiels, Selkirk) Pre-arranged B&B. Please note If additional accommodation is required before or after the trip, within the Central Borders, we are happy to arrange this for you. Prices vary dramatically so we will give you a cost closer to the time of the trip. As a rough guide, B&B will cost approximately £40-£60 per person per night.

  • Duration: Two days, starting and finishing at Melrose
  • Distance: 265 Miles approx
  • Minimum group size:1 rider on a private tour basis, or 6 people (includes pillions) for an open group.
  • Cost: Per head. Prices from 1st Jan 2012
    • Open group £120 per person (price includes 1 nights' B&B and professional guiding)
    • 10% discount for Pillion Passengers
    • Additional B&B likely to cost approximately £40-£60 per person per night
