Adventure on Wheels Ltd working together with Active Sports, are providers of recreational adventure at its best, providing activities with adventure, over Land and Water to industry, education, and the general public.

Travel broadens the mind ..... why not broaden your horizons?

With that in mind, Active Sports have a wide range of activities, including

our guided motor cycle tours throughout mainland Scotland and its Islands

We have various packages available at an assortment of prices.

• What we have on offer:

1. Professional I.A.M. tour guides giving you an informative trip, (not just a follow me day) with information for all our stop points. A two-way communication system from driver to driver and passenger is also available.

2. Route maps.

3. Entry into selected points of interest such as museums etc.

4. Individually planned tours can be arranged to suit clients' requirements and specifications.

5. Maximum group size 8 + 2 guides (more than one group at a time can be run, i.e. two groups of eight). 

6. Minimum group size 1 or 2 + 1 guide, depending on the chosen tour.

7. Cost is per head, with up to a 35% discount for couples, and up to 45% discount for private groups of 5 or more (subject to tours chosen). Tour discounts exclude accommodation, bike hire etc.   

8. A fine selection of 3-4 star accommodation (our prices include bed and breakfast, but not dinner).

9. A selection of outdoor activities between trips (subject to tours chosen).

10. A 10% discount card on any of our other 25 outdoor activities, all run by Active Sports.

11. Motorbike hire for over 25 year olds only, full bike licence required. "Click" for hire information.(misc bike info)

12. A two way pick up and drop off service for you and your bike, from Rosyth ferry terminal, Edinburgh Airport, Berwick upon Tweed and Edinburgh Waverley train stations. "Click" for pick up and drop off prices.(misc bike info)

13. As all our staff are I.A.M. (Institute of Advanced Motorists) members we can offer you free advice on how to improve your bike skills. Please note we will only give this advice on request.

Please note that whilst Adventure on Wheels' tours are based on a historical theme, we only brush the surface of Scotland's turbulent and colourful past, and do not provide an in-depth history. An interest in history is not necessary to enjoy our tours, just a love of the freedom of motorcycling!

• Location: Scotland, primarily in the Scottish Borders but tours can depart from any other pre-arranged accommodation to suit individual requirements, Please refer to the accommodation section of this CD for information on Whitmuir Hall and our other accommodation providers (Please note that prices for B&B vary dramatically throughout location and time of year. We strive to get you the best possible deals, but you should expect to pay around £45 - £65  per head. There will generally be a single person occupation supplement on accommodation).
